Why Does the Gold Hunter Weigh Your Gold and Silver in Your Presence?

When you sell your gold and silver, you want to be treated fairly. You want to trust that you aren’t being cheated and that your gold buyer is telling you the truth.  To increase transparency and trust, the Gold Hunter will always separate your gold piles by karat and weigh them on a sensitive digital scale…directly in front of you.  Not like the one shown which is  a precision balance scale for weighing silver and gold located on display at the Historic Archive and Museum of Mining in Pachuca, Mexico.  We use modern technology today.

Most other gold buyers take your jewelry and sort out the gold into their respective karat gold piles without your direct observation (which raises questions of the integrity of each karat gold pile). They then weigh the gold outside of your direct line of sight, preventing you from verifying the truthfulness of the weights!  Not only does The Gold Hunter weigh your gold and silver items right in front of you, we also first calibrate our accurate digital scale with calibration weights, again while you watch firsthand.

Lastly, we record the gram weights on a Gold Hunter slip that documents what you have just witnessed. We take great effort to make the transaction as transparent as possible, so you can make an educated decision about whether you want to sell The Gold Hunter your unwanted gold and silver.

Whether you are selling unwanted gold or silver jewelry, an inherited silver set, or any other kind of gold or silver, The Gold Hunter will always treat you with honesty and trustworthiness. That is the Gold Hunter way of doing business!
